William Cole Smith, 17 days old, of Etowah, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville. Survivors include his parents, Josh and Alisha Smith of Etowah; grandparents, Charles and Stephanie Hale of Englewood, Dwayne Disspain of Etowah and Angie Brannon of Athens; and great-grandparents, Barbara Webb of Athens, Kenneth and Toni Fink of Bedrock, Colorado and David Brannon of Etowah.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Craig Wilcox officiating. There will be no visitation held.
